svnserve and webaccess

Hello,
I want am using SVN with svnserve and client access with tortise svn client
tool. It is working good. Now I want to grant access to some users via web,
I want to know if I configure webserver for SVN will it effect my current
setup(svnserve)?
I want to run both setup (svnserve as primary method and apache server as
secondry), It is ok to configure svnserve with client tool to read/write and
apache only read only ?
