Thanks. In my case /svn is a part of the repository URL, not a directory in the repository. It's also a convention for local working directories--thus the confusion.
ALSO: I had tried just [/cm] in one test, but failed to remember that repository paths (as opposed to local working directories) are CASE SENSITIVE. Should have been [/CM].
