commit mails are not coming.

Hi,
SVN using sendmail to send commit emails. It is working from last year.
Recently i found mails are going to spam and some times emails are not
coming.
Sendmail is working properly. In the log i found it forwarded the mails, but
mail are getting dropping some where. I fell its due to lack of
authentication.

How to solve this issue.
OR

I will create new email on which i will deliver the commit mails. But my
doubt is how to configure smtp related information like mailserver, port,
username and password.

please help me to solve this issues.
