Hello,
I was using tortoisesvn for a large update when it stopped with the
following error:

In file
'D:\Development\SVN\Releases\TortoiseSVN-1.6.5\ext\subversion\subversion\libsvn_ra_svn\marshal.c'

line 486: assertion failed (opt || cstr)

(and the recommendation to report it to the mailing list :-)). I am using
Windows XP, and the repository has about 40 top level folders. Revision
count is up to about 2400. Subversion server runs on debian linux and is
version 1.4.2 (packaged as 1.4.2dfsg1-2).

The most notable this occurred during the update was a tree conflict.
When I re-ran the update everything worked as expected.

best regards
