Could not authenticate to server

All of a sudden all our svn users are getting "Could not authenticate to
server: rejected Basic challenge https:...."

We authenticate to a domain controller in an active directory domain.
Our IS guys tell us they are having problems with one of the domain
controllers and to point to another. I can't for the life of me figure
out where this is and so far a find |grep isn't finding anything. Help!!
I have users all over my back because they have a project deadline
looming and they can't check-in or check-out.
