'Could not read response body'

Hi

We are running svn server 1.5.2 and TortoiseSVN 1.6.5. Connection to server is via Apache (https). Today I checked out a large project to a network drive and got error:

Error REPORT of '/subversion/<myproj ...>': Could not read response body:
Error Secure connection truncated (https:// ...)

(actual project and url masked).

The checkout is large (~800MB) and the transfer speed is around 15kbytes/s.

Doing an update after the failure appears to complete the checkout successfully.

A Google search shows that others have experienced this problem but I haven't seen a solution. Any suggestions please?

Best regards
David
