I'm interested in what the definition of "most" is, and where you get
the data to back up such a statement. *Many* large software
development shops deploy Subversion, and I have yet to see a company
with 3k or 5k developers move to a distributed system such as git. My
experience could be limited, though, which is why I'm interested to
hear your sources.

(Yes, I know, I'm ugly and stupid for saying the above. I'm not
trying to start a VC flame war, and I know that Subversion has it's
warts, but I still think it's a decent version control system.)
