Hi Andy,

Good question.
Basically, both codeBeamer and TeamForge are used by medium to large
customers, both are
systems integrating a rich set of tools, both has strong SVN support,
both can run behind-firewall
or in the cloud. Listing all the differences would be a very long
list, but just some of the major
differentiators:
* issue tracking in CB
** tracker field- and workflow configuration options are richest in
industry (afaik)
** tracker configuration can be inherited (deep / shallow)
** fine-grained security - permissions even on field level
** issue escalation (SLA)
* CB's wiki is comparable to JSPWiki in features, plus:
** wiki integrates tightly with all the other components, from
trackers to continuous integration
** approval worfklows on wiki content
** open API (you can run JSPWiki plugins in CB!)
** wiki pages editable in MS Word
* version control in CB
** SVN dir-level ACL based on any combination of individual users,
groups and roles (optionally synced with LDAP)
** no lock-in: you can convert to SVN <-> Git <-> Mercurial <-> etc. any time
* some CB features missing from TeamForge
** source code analysis
** CMDB (ITIL)
** very rich remote API (extensions, customizations)
** social flavour (rating, voting, etc.)

> What is the pricing structure?
About the pricing: for up to 6 users it is free, for 100-user costs
US$400/user, for 1000-users US$300/user. (There is lot of flexibility
here via floating/named licenses.)
Hope this helps.
