Right, and you can write automated tests in no time? I've worked in a QA
department and seen how many problems there are writing automated
software tests. Plus the tools are really expensive. The good ones.
We've tested the cheaper/free ones and they were not functional/useful.

Should, true. But you won't do that if your client doesn't pay you and
you're already short of development time.
