The Subversion on RedHat 5 is rather out of date. You need to add the
"rpmforge" repository to your list of available software sources,
which is listed at http://rpmrepo.org/RPMforge. I generally find
RPMforge packages superior to RHEL because they are far more current,
for tools like Subversion, Nagios, lftp, and perl modules.

If you prefer, you can download the subversion and the 'mod_dav_svn'
packages directly from an RPMforge loaction and install them directly.
But even if you download them directly, installing them with 'yum'
will report and allow you to automatically install dependencies.
