checkout error

Hi,

I created a repository on a svn-server (apache module) on a windows server.
Server version is 1.5.5

Then imported a tree from a SUSE linux system (11.1) with svn-client version 1.6.3.
Tree is 300MB with 34000 files. This took around 5 hours.

Now created a new directory on the linux system and did a checkout.
This works much faster but didn't complete.

A lot of files are added, until the following error:

svn: Kann Datei "lib/osip2/src/test/res/.svn/tmp/text-base/torture_msgs2.svn-base" nicht öffnen: Die Operation ist nicht erlaubt

Directory listing shows me a file with a length of 34KB, but in reality it's empty.
Therefore linux cannot imagine a type and doesn't allow an open.

I can list the file from the repository with firefox without any problem.
It is a normal ascii textfile.

On another linux system with older linux (suse 10.2) and older svn client (1.4.2) the checkout works fine.

Any hint what I have to do?

Bernd
