Yes, I have gotten that one many times too. :-)

When you run SVN-commands, make sure that your working directory is actually
SVN-versioned - it helps tremendously! If you are not sure try "ls -l .svn"
. If it says "No such file or directory", then you are not in an
SVN-versioned folder.
