Not quite that simple. In the case of the a directory, I need to get rid
of that .svn subdir, so they need to export. I have to research this and
explain how to do it in every client they might be using (Versions,
RapidSVN, kdesvn, TortioseSVN..............)

It's a 1 time pain for everyone on the team every time I need to do
this. That costs $$$.
