The centralized metadata in wc-ng means having one .svn directory at
the root of the working copy in which all the metadata for the entire
working copy is stored. In 1.7, that probably won't be "relocatable"
or have the ability to store the metadata disjointly from the actual
working copy. However, wc-ng makes such a feature very possible, and
hopefully it will appear in future versions of Subversion.
