Actually the "there" is a projectfolder on a networkdrive. Until now the
engineers worked there(reluctantly because it is slow) and the PM could
always have his share of checking the status or some special files, he's
intersted in. It is not read-only! Now with svn the engineers will work on
a local working copy and comit their changes to the rep. But I still have
to keep the "there"/projectfolder up to date.

About the size:
Yes I know that there will be a lot of space wastet by exporting. But it
is inevitable:-( That's not so bad though, because the projectfolder will
be exported over and so there is not much additional space used. The still
existing problem is, that "svn export" does not delete the files deleted
in the rep but still present in the projectfolder/"there". I think I will
have to delte it somehow.
