Subversion 1.6.1 Client Install on AIX

Greetings!

I am trying to install Subversion 1.6.1 on AIX 5.3 but i am getting an error
while installing, please find the below error
 fpcmsre_at_amro500: 0 636 $ ./configure
configure: Configuring Subversion 1.6.1
configure: creating config.nice
checking for gcc... no
checking for cc... no
checking for cl.exe... no
configure: error: in `/export/home/sri/subversion/subversion-1.6.1':
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
See `config.log' for more details.

I found that there is no Compiler found in the server.

But now i have to install Subversion 1.6.1 Client, How do i do that and
where i can find the installation path and document on the client, please
help me in this regards.
