Unusual problem with txn-current-lock

Am using FSFS system - on shared netapps storage + linux server.

svn: While preparing '/home/stein/.fbpackage-data/site_integrity/live_fuzzy_hashing/versions/7/fuzzyhash_server' for commit
svn: Can't get exclusive lock on file '/svnapps/db/txn-current-lock': No locks available

Have been using this system for months - any ideas what this error is about
