Evil Twin instantly reminded me of the Hammer House of Horror film,
Twins of Evil, where the (rather busty) Maria and Madeleine Collinson
put on a memorable performance!

So if you want ominous, perhaps the Beast in the Cellar would refer to
the stranded file, or just refer to it as an Undead file (ready to be
resurrected from its grave, by a fearless svn admin)(zombie doesn't
quite have the correct ring to it, and is used for too many other
computing terms)
