svn cleanup doesn't?

Hi All,

Subversion 1.6.1.

Doing svn cleanup in the root of a checkout used to work, it now doesn't:

chris_at_server2:~project_co$ svn cleanup
svn: In directory 'a/folder'
svn: Error processing command 'committed' in 'a/folder'
...

However, if I cd to a/folder and run `svn cleanup` there, it works fine.

So now I have to do this for *every* deeply nested folder where
something is locked. Really?!

Why has svn cleanup changed to no longer to this recursion itself?

Chris
