Of course I'm asking if it's possible to fix this problem without the need of re-checkout all the project.
It's a really big project and it lies inside a complicated directory structure that holds lots of unversioned files that will be quite complicated to rebuild.
Of course I'm prepared to hear the answer "not, it's impossibile" but what I'm wondering if your answer is the "simple and clean way" rather than "the only one"... in this case I'd be glad to discover a "tricky and complicated" way to try fix my actual working copy.
