My typical advice on the SVNBOOK is - "just read. Don't try to understand each
page separately. Take a note and read further. If you get stuck, you can
always flip back and refer to the previous example".

I've read it first in English (For those didn't noticed - it's not my primary
language), it was... not always easy to follow, but then... there was the light.
And second reading was more educational and have been understood much better.
This is the one book that worth rereading. As many times as you feel it
suitable. I have it uploaded in my cell phone :) hehe.
