My stock answer to questions like this is that it's irrelevant.
Subversion in general is very performant, and whilst there may be
slight advantages in one platform over another, IMHO it's generally
best to pick a platform that works for you - i.e. if you/your server
support team know Windows inside out, use Windows. If they know Linux
best, then use Linux.
