Hi tsahi,

Great!! I like it when things are simple!!

I guess once that is done I will also need to perform a relocate on my
local working copy?

James.

this shouldn't be a problem. suppose your code currently resides in
/MyApp. then;
1. open repo-browser
2. create MyApp/trunk, MyApp/branches, MyApp/tags
3. drag the code files from /MyApp to MyApp/trunk

every such change is a change you commit to the repository, so you will
be asked for a commit comment.

that's it, more or less. you could use drag&drop to arrange with a
different schema, such as trunk/App1, trunk/App2, etc.

Subject: Adding Trunks / Tags / Branches to existing Repos

Hi
All,

Leading on from the
last question I asked I need to create some Tags and Branches on the
repositories I have in SVN. However, I have realised that when I
created
the repositories I didn't create default trunk/tag/branches structure
...

Doh!

Can this structure
be applied to existing repositories retrospectively? I'm at a point
with
the current application where we have just released a milestone version
which is
now parked development wise for a week or so, so now is the time to
apply
this.

Can the current
contents of the repos be turned into the trunk and the branches / tags
structure
added to the repos?

Thanks,

James.
