File corruption issue

Good moring,

Some of our developers have been getting the following error for a few
days every time they try to update the code,

Error: Can't open file

Error: The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.

This happens with the use of TortoiseSVN or the svn command line client.

Has anyone seen this and if so what is the fix for it. I should mention
that svn clean does not work with this. The only way I have found to
take care if it is to remove the directory, reboot the system and then
try to remove the remnants and then do another checkout.
