Hi,

I totally agree with you , there are too many things that come into
picture between http & https.
This was just my observation. (Nothing like debating).Tortoise is taking
exactly same time(12-16 secs) to open both urls(Url1 given and second
url my svn url). Every single click on the node takes same time. Even
the svninfo command takes the same time. But http sites work much
faster. I have hosted the svn on apache locally. Response there is
excellent.

Currently we are struck.Tortise access taking12-16 secs for every single
operation is totally unacceptable. Request to provide input using which
we can resolve this issue and we can use the subversion software
successfully.

Regards,
Shiv.

Is there any way you can compare HTTPS vs. HTTP against the *same*
server? There are too many variables in play if you're comparing 2
servers in addition to HTTP vs. HTTPS.
