trunk is currently being stabilized in preparation for the 1.6 branch, which
will hopefully happen in the next week or two. After that, 4-6 weeks until the
release.

As or whether it will help, I can't say for certain. As we get closer to the
release, the release notes will get written, hopefully providing this information.
