Oh, Minix 3 has become a very interesting OS for certain applications.
In one of the last editions of (German) "Linux-Magazin" was an article
about it. It's microkernel architecture allows it to reload corrupted
device drivers without the risk that the whole system crashes; it even
has a kind of watchdog mechanism for such purposes. The current release
3.1.2 can be found here:

But there is one big problem: after removing all Subversion stuff from
your computer you won't be able to check-out the Minix sources directly
from the Minix repository anymore. ;-)
