Thanks for the prompt response !!

We have a product , in which the same media file is required at multiple
locations , and that file is called from the path of those multiple
locations
Depending upon the stage of the program.The program design is like that.

So all the files are in trunk only and we are not attempting to bring a
series of branches up-to-date with a trunk version.

I guess I don't understand why you are keeping multiple copies within
the repository in synch. Are you attempting to bring a series of
branches up-to-date with a trunk version? Perhaps if you more fully
explain your usage model it would make more sense.
