Unable to commit added files to my SVN repo

Hello,

my svn repository periodically fucks up. When this happens I can not
commit added files any more.

The message is:

Commit failed (details follow):

XML data was not well-formed

Clean doesn't help. I have to create a whole new repository. What might
be the reason for this failure?

Server: Windows Server 2003 with apache 2.2, Subversion 1.5.5

Client: Windows XP, Eclipse Subversive Plugin, TortoiseSVN 1.5.6, Build
14908 - 32 Bit
