Bizarre message re locked repository - can I get past this

From: Jonathan Coles <jcoles0727_at_rogers.com>

When I try to run svnsync, I get this message:

"Failed to get lock on destination repos, currently held by
'thispc:ab47dc2b-52a2-4042-9cba-5c8ae24d76ab'"

The repository is mine. Why is it locked? How can I unlock it?

"svnadmin lslocks" shows no locks. A different type of lock, perhaps?

Previously, I had used svnadmin dump --ignore-uuid to load a revision
that fails due to the svnsync "invalid chunk delimiter" bug. svnsync
fails to transfer any revision larger than about 20M. I had hoped to
bypass the problem and then continue with svnsync.

Should I have used the dump --force-uuid option instead? Where would I
find the correct uuid value?

Is there another backup method that will work? svnsync was a promising
feature of v1.4, but it is practically useless with this bug.
