Re: I've to use the source of subversion for my Suse?

Believe it or not, I was unable to find a current 1.5.x version of a
build in SUSE. You can try the Redhat package (the binaries should be
compatible), but I ended up building it myself.

Words 'o Warning:

* Make sure you download neon from "http://www.webdav.org/neon/" and
build that. Neon on SUSE is too old a version to work. Otherwise, you
won't be able to use the http://protocol. Only file:// and svn://.

* You need to download quite a few dependencies. At least I did.
Novell SUSE seems to be a pretty stripped down development system.
Fortunately, all except for Neon are available via the graphical
package installer. You'll find out what you need when you run the
configure utility when you try to install Subversion.
