I tried this and with a little fiddle I got it to work!
It was not possible to copy the VcClient directory from version 34 to the
HEAD without changing its name (or it's possible but I don't know how). So
I copied the directory to VcClient1 at the HEAD and then renamed it to
VcClient.

No I have all of my files in the project and it's possible to commit and to
update and ...
