Using properties

Hi All,

I would like to ask about properties...
My company has creative team that creates SWF file, Pictures FLV files
etc.

If a creative developer has a picture of a yellow flower, we need to
create a folder of flowers and then create sub folder called yellow.
We have thousands of pictures movies mp3 etc. so we have a huge folder
trees.

I just came to the company, and I am a beginner to SVN. But I read
somewhere that SVN can create properties.

I want to be able to create 2 properties:
- Flower.
- Yellow.
And then I will be able, in a single path to locate all the files that
has the two properties flower and tree, even if the file name is
1235.jpg.

1) Can I do that?
2) Should I use that? I read that searchability is hard. Why?
3) In case I use properties - not per revision but per file would it
help the searchability?

I was told that there is a tool called versionQ of Adobe. They know how
to make those properties.
I was told that if SVN can't do that, than the future of SVN in the
company is not for long... Please help!!!

That's it for now.
