What's the right way to use apache with the Collabnet SVN 1.5 rpm?

Installing the Collabnet SVN 1.5 rpm gives me 2.2.8 apache with svn mods
ready to go and no other mods. I'd like to use some additional mods
(mod_proxy for example). what do I do?

I can just build my own SVN
I can build my own Apache 2.2.8 and move the modules into the collabnet
apache
I can build my own Apache 2.2.8 and move svn modules into it.

What are people doing? Or is no one using the collabnet rpms?

Thanks...
