svn write-through proxy: relocate from slave to master via uuid copy advisable?

From: Lutz Dornbusch <svn_at_yogasurftech.de>

Hello
I recently setup a write-through proxy which now works. However I have
the following question:
If my slave will fail, my developers want to relocate to the master to
continue work until slave is up and running again.
relocation is only possible if I manually copy the "uuid" file from
master repository to slave.

Is this advisable? Are there any problems doing it in this way?

Thanx in advance,
Lutz Dornbusch
