"svn co" and "svn up" missing files

Hi,

please note, I'm not subscribed to this list, so please Cc: me in case
you reply.

After checking in a ~62 MByte mp3 in an otherwise quite small
repository (a few KBytes), svn co and svn up don't get most of the
files in the repository any more. Additionally the speed of repository
access drops(?) to less than 7KBit, the slowest part of the link being
a 2MBit line.

Server is at Version 1.4.4, transport is https, client is at version
1.5.1, no errors in any log as far as I can see, server and client
system are basically idle.

Removing the file from the repository "resolved" the issue.

Is this behaviour of subversion expected?
