I see a valid risk here as well: There are quite often request that
end up with 'Could you send us the broken repository and we can have a
look'. An ex-colleague[*] of mine accidentally sent a repo dump to the
list that was intended to be private (even despite the fact that
'reply to' does not go to the list ;) . No further damage ensued, but
it could have - think about you companies most important product,
document or source code suddenly public. 'Private' is not only talking
about your life.
