migration from tortoisesvn to rapidsvn?

[newbie alert -- sort of.] it's been a while since i've been here,
but i'm joining an existing project shortly that involves svn, and the
current environment has a small number of developers working on
windows using tortoisesvn.

i *may* have the freedom (don't know yet) to work in my more
comfortable environment of linux, for which i'd use rapidsvn. (i know
next to nothing about either of those GUI front ends -- i've always
been an "svn" command-line kind of guy.)

would there be any compatibility problem with the above? i can't
imagine why there would be but, as i said, i know very little about
either GUI. also, is there any drawback with tortoisesvn people
moving from that to rapidsvn, even if they stay on windows, if
everyone would prefer to be consistent? (AIUI, tortoise is strictly
windows, while rapid is cross-platform.)

thanks for any advice. pointers to where this has been asked and
answered before would work just fine.
