UTF-8 encoding error messages

Hello,
Recently all svn repositories on our server have started displaying
this error message when we commit:

Transmitting file data .svn: Commit failed (details follow):
svn: Valid UTF-8 data
(hex: 14)
followed by invalid UTF-8 sequence
(hex: a4 01)
svn: Your commit message was left in a temporary file:

This is happening for all repositories after upgrading from 1.1.4
(centos repository version) to 1.5.1

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find the problem here? I
can't find any file names that are non standard, and since this is
happening on all repositories I doubt that is the cause. This is the
only cause for this warning I can find on google.

Anthony
