Re: 301/302 redirects

A proxy pass isn't a redirect ... it's a proxy (as the name suggests).

Redirect's won't work because Subversion expects the URL returned by the
remote server to match the URL which is being requested.

I tried to do something similar once ... didn't work & I had to revert to
using the Proxying method.

Trying to redirect a url:  http://server1.com/svn/repos to

Have tried a URL re-write and a redirect statement in the apache config. 
Both work in a web browser, but neither works in TortoiseSVN.
