I completely agree. I wasn't attempting to incite a riot or start a
poll/petition. My reply was intended to express my thoughts and
opinions, but since I am a newcomer and I don't own the list, I don't
see any point in parading around who does or does not want change.

As I mentioned, after one person linked to the FAQ, in my mind the
public debate was over. It was only after people felt the need to
reply in a snide or pretentious manner than I wrote my lengthy reply.

Since I started this thread, can we all agree that I'm killing it? :-)
