Come to think of it you are right. I've never noticed a discussion
about the reply-to if it goes back to the list. Both this list and
the mailman list do not automatically go back to the list, so there is
discussion every now and then. Both lists have web page sections
regarding the reply-to issue. If the reply-to was to the list,
neither section would be necessary :-)

Doing the group reply-to when responding defeats the purpose of not
setting the mail list reply-to header and ultimately doubles net
traffic by having two copies being sent out. As you said, this is
a group mail list where we all help each other and by not replying
to the list defeats the purpose of everyone seeing the responses (if
the responder forgets to group reply).
