AW: Character encoding not working since upgrade to 1.5 (Umlaute)

It seems that the files are committed correctly.
It is the checkout that doesn't seem to work properly.

co using subversive: OK
co using svn-command on the SVN-server-machine: OK
co using svn-command on any other machine: corrupted characters!!

anybody can give a hint what is going on?

Since the upgrade to SVN 1.5 any commit request is not handled properly anymore regarding the charater encoding!

German Umlaute get lost !

"öäüß ÄÖÜ" --> "F4L/ &, "

Anybody experienced that too?
What is the solution?

We are primarily using Subversive with Eclipse.
The problem has not existed with SVN 1.4.6.
