I've just mentioned, that a apache-restart fixed the problem.
Could it be a follow-issue of getting the error of
http://svn.haxx.se/users/archive-2008-07/0330.shtml ??

The strange thing of the

is, that I worked around this by calling
truss -f svn ci some files -m "commitlog.."
and only with -f passed to truss (solaris)

really strange..

any hints?
