Subversion hangs on commit - WinXP svn+ssh

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help. I have a repository created and the

subversion client on two windows XP laptops, both Thinkpad T42s and both

built on a similar image. On the first laptop, I started using TortoiseSVN

just fine with svn+ssh and it works perfectly with two users.

(svn+ssh://user@hostname/repo/path)

On the second laptop I am having a problem. I am getting the following:

- TortoiseSVN checkout hangs

- TortoisePlink run on it's own crashes with an exception

- SVN command line client with plink hangs

- plink on its own signs in fine with it's generated key

- putty works fine with same key

I built the respoitory last week and all versions of everything are

current. The repository runs on Ubuntu, and the server is current from

Ubuntu repository.

I would really like to get SVN working on this laptop.. any suggestions, at

least on a way to troubleshoot, would be much appreciated! Thanks!
