But what are the commands you use which result in the error? In order
to reproduce the problem, we need to know what is causing it. Saying
that "Subversion 1.5.0 merges failing" and "I am getting "Malformed URL"
errors everywhere" doesn't give the steps needed for others to determine
how to get those same errors. Could you produce a simple script which
would generate the same errors?

Also, does this happen with a 1.4.6 client? Is the problem a regression
in 1.5.0, or is it also present in older clients? I realize that you
are currently using a 1.5.0 client, but could you try using an older
client and reporting the result?
