Machine hosting repository given new IP... can't commit

I have a repository located on a machine in our facility. When the
original repository was created the machine was setup with DHCP. Since
the repository was created, it has been assigned a static IP, which is
different than the one under which the repository was created. When I
tried to commit my changes a few minutes, I get an error message
saying there was no route to host/connection failed of course... How
do I correct the situation, i.e. make my machine point to the same
repository, which is on the same machine, but with the new IP?

Thanks,
Ed
