Manoj, I really suggest you step back for a moment and take the time to read
the manual again. In particular, I'm afraid you don't fully understand the
terms 'repository' and 'working copy'. The repository is a database where the
versioned content is stored. A working copy (and you can have as many of them
as you want) is a directory tree which you use as temporary storage to make
modifications before committing them to the repository. A repository is not a
working copy and vice-versa.

You say that you have 'checked out' and an MS Windows box and now want to
run 'svn st' on the server. However, that makes really no sense, as 'svn st'
needs a working copy as context. It is not something you can run on a
repository.

Just reread the introduction, it will probably fall in place then.
