Possible repository corruption?

Hello all-

I received a report from one of my users this morning that,
apparently, several commits have gone missing in our SVN repository.
To be specific, the corruption appeared to start around revision 714 -
the problem is that the developers didn't notice the problem until
commit 800 or so. None of the commits between those to revisions are
currently show up in the repository.

This is a linux server, and I currently have subversion-1.4.6 installed on it.

Frankly, I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting this. Any ideas?
Does anyone know of any other cases of commits going AWOL like this?

Thanks so much-
Erik Anderson
