I've heard that you can also use svnsync to mirror a repository over,
and avoid the dump/load, which might save space. I see articles at
http://blogs.open.collab.net/svn/2007/08/mirroring-repos.html and
http://rctay.spaces.live.com/Blog/cns!59D3BFCD027B09E5!677.entry on
making the initial mirror. I don't know if you can use this to upgrade
between versions...does anyone else know, or have additional pointers?
It sounds like some people have had problems with svnsync bugs, but I
imagine this is the only viable option for large repos, or repos with
lots of revisions to big files.
